SPEAKERS

Former USCIS Leaders, Founders, Investors and Experts Take the Stage

Some of the most anticipated conversations at Open Atlas Summit will bring attendees face-to-face with people who have worked inside the institutions, companies and industries immigrants are trying to navigate. Former USCIS leaders Ricky Murray, Michael Valverde and April Padilla will bring an inside perspective on how USCIS operates, adjudication and immigration policy changes.

The lineup also includes Finn Reynolds of Lawfully, presenting immigration trends based on data from 2M+ immigrants; Mani Krishnan of Shastha Foods on building an immigrant-led business; Prabakar Sundarrajan of The Fabric on scaling startups; Preetha Ram of Pier 70 Ventures on reinventing a career in America; and former NASA Chief Technologist Raj Pai alongside Anshu Agarwal of Converge VC for a conversation on AI, space and deep-tech startups.

Attendees will also hear from investors and founders including Jyotika Gupta of Z21 Ventures, Dhravya Shah of Supermemory and Craig Montuori of gener8or, alongside immigration attorneys and specialists covering O-1, EB-1A, NIW, H-1B alternatives, EB-5, consular processing, layoffs, adjustment of status and immigration litigation.

Beyond immigration, sessions will tackle the questions shaping immigrant careers and businesses right now: How do you get hired by FAANG companies? How do immigrant founders pitch VCs? When does returning to India make sense? How do immigrants build wealth in America? What happens to careers as AI changes the workplace?

These are designed to be practical conversations with people who have actually built, invested, hired, adjudicated and advised in these spaces.
